How to Colour Remove
Step 1: Mix
Mix equal Parts A and B in a plastic or glass bowl until combined.
Step 2: Apply To Dry Hair
Apply Colour Remover carefully and evenly to dry Hair, covering all areas that contain the unwanted Permanent Hair Colour. Apply the Colour Remover as soon as it is mixed, as performance decreases with time.
Step 3: Developing Time
Once the Colour Remover has been applied to the Hair, wrap the Hair with plastic cling wrap or a shower cap. Do not exceed 20 minutes developing time. If the Colour Remover causes irritation rinse out and do not continue to use.
Step 4: Rinse your Hair
Once the development time has been reached, rinse the Hair for 3 to 5 minutes in warm water and shampoo the Hair vigorously 2 to 3 times.
You can do up to 2 Colour Remover applications in one day. Apply Colour Remover to dry Hair.
How Much Colour Remover Will I Need?
For Short Hair
1 x Colour Remover
For Long Hair / Thick Hair
2 x Colour Remover
What if I want to re-Colour?
We recommend waiting at least 48 hours before re-Colouring. If you are Colouring straight after Colour Removing, select a Hair Colour at least 2 shades Lighter.
What is Colour Build Up?
Multiple applications of Colour ontop of Colour will leave you with Colour Build Up. Colour Build Up can stop Colour Remover from working and will result in no change to your Hair Colour. Luckily, Colour Build up can be cleaned out with multiple uses of Colour Remover.
Tip: Darker Colours may need more applications of Colour Remover.
