4 Ways To Hide Your Regrowth

To help reduce some regrowth anxiety, follow our 4 tips to cope with your regrowth while waiting for your My Hairdresser order to arrive.

Oh the dreaded regrowth. Just as you do a fabulous job of your Colour you blink and have to touch it up all over again. Spare a thought for the Blondes, the worst regrowth offender of them all. To help reduce some regrowth anxiety, we have put together 4 tips to cope with your regrowth while waiting for your My Hairdresser order to arrive.

Pump up the Volume.

You want to add some body to your Hair, rather than having it sit flat on your head, which will make your regrowth quite obvious. Try a dry shampoo, particularly on your second day Hair, to create some height and movement. Remember to comb it through all your Hair, for the full effect.

Avoid your middle part

A middle heavy parting leads to flat Hair which only highlights your regrowth, particularly if it’s where your Natural part falls. Mix things up. Casually change your part - we mean run your fingers through your Hair creating a new direction and adding some messiness.

Get Loose

As we mentioned, it is really important to keep your Hair off your scalp and not let it get flat. So once you have added some volume, consider some messy waves or curls. Think of a style with a little oomph, that creates some texture. When your Hair is dead straight, it really highlights your roots.

Pull it back

With your added volume, pull your Hair back. Opt for a messy bun or ponytail. Try a loose, chunky pulled out braid. Elect for a Hairstyle that doesn’t require a lot of combing or brushing. Do not chose a slicked back pony, or anything tight.
